— An anonymous student, in remarks provided in a survey conducted by the Law School Admission Council and the National Association for Law Placement, regarding accelerated Biglaw recruiting schedules. The survey found that 67% of first-year students interested in a Biglaw career reported that the expedited hiring timeline negatively affected their law school experience. In response, Nikia Gray, NALP executive director, told Reuters, “This indicates that the accelerated recruiting timeline is fundamentally altering the entire law school experience in ways that harm all students in their academic growth, their professional identity development, and their well-being.”
